Our Mission

Shimmy Shakes aims to make dance classes accessible to all children. We provide a high quality dance program, without the high costs normally associated with dance. We are an all inclusive school and welcome children with additional needs to be part of our program. Our program is designed to be enjoyed by both boys and girls.

We have classes for children from 6 months old up to school age, small class sizes, separate ballet and tap classes as well as general dance classes split into age appropriate groups. Our programs are fun and creative whilst teaching the fundamentals of dance, using age appropriate music and we incorporate key word sign language to all of our classes. Our studio is a child safe venue with easy, ground floor access and a cafe just outside our door, so parents can relax while their children are in a safe and fun class.
